Hello,
I've seen the older post about this, but there wasn't a clear solution. I want to replace the template found at C:\Program Files\National Instruments\DIAdem 2015\Resource\PowerPointTemplate.ppt with a template from my company. I am able to change the name of the file, copy the file, but it will not let me save anything in that folder since, I assume, it was locked by NI.
How can I go about accomplishing this?
Thanks.

Hi Kevin,
Try saving the PPT file to your desktop first, then copying the PPT file from the desktop to the Program Files... folder with Windows Explorer-- it should pop up and Administrator dialog that hopefully you can click <OK> on to approve the copy.
For many years now Windows has restricted access to the "Program Files..." folder tree to only allow Admins to make changes. That's not a DIAdem lock, it's from Microsoft.

That makes sense, and it worked perfectly.
Thanks Brad.
