Portal.Refresh vs. Portal.Redraw

Hello guys,

hopefully an easy question: what is the difference between Portal.Refresh and Portal.Redraw?

We use mostly Diadem 2015, sometimes 2019, and I cannot see the different behavior in these commands...

But both commands are existing, therefore there should be a reason.

Hi Dia791,

Yes, there is a difference and the reason for both commands is performance.

Portal.Refresh recreates the whole Dataportal, independent how many channel croups, channels, and properties you have.

Poertal.Redraw only redraws the visible part of the Dataportal.
