Roborio 1 not imaging

The rios (there are two broken in this way) that we've been using for years have suddenly stopped working. Their status lights constantly blink three times in succession.

we have tried using two usb drives and neither of them worked. The rio would either start flashing the status light twice or rapidly blink. Putting it into safe mode and trying to recover it that way and/or reimaging it did not work.

The images below are of the two errors we've gotten when trying to format the rio and of the rio not showing any current image

I understand you've put the device into safe mode and trying to recover it that way and/or reimaging it did not work. You tried using two USB drives with no success. Have you tried any other steps so far?

Also, is this a RoboRIO 1.0 or a RoboRIO 2.0 device?

Hi Jessica, the Roborio is a Roborio 1.0. In reference to the link, we have tried the steps to no success. We also tried using a different computer, changing the computer's name, and reinstalling the FRC game tools. All to no avail.
