Changing username

Hello,

i tried to change my username as described here. After that i logged out and in again and made a posting. Afterwards i realized that the change had no effect.

Its important for me to change my NI-Discussion alias because at the moment it shows my emailaddress in clear text.

You should be able to change it in your personal settings under MyNI.

To change your user name, go to ni.com/profile and click Modify Profile.  Then edit the section that has the field for "Alias".  That is where your forum user name is stored.

Thats exactly what i did. After that logging out and in again.

And the alias set in my profile is correct, but somehow it doesn't get updated at the NI-Discussion Board. Maybe because i'm from Germany and therefore my profile is stored on a different server?

Oh, right now it has changed. Maybe really a problem with different servers and different time zones? Don't know...
