Quick Introduction to the Forums for New Users

Hi All -

I'm starting this thread as a collection point for feedback on the pilot Forum tips series Stephanie is writing.  Because we will be linking to her posts in places that new users hopefully will follow the link, we would like to keep the replies on the post to a minimum so that new users don't feel overwhelmed with the number of replies and feel that they have to read through all of them.

1) The first part of this doc has weird formatting "if end if" etc.

2) There should be something to tell contributors that we are not a free software development service. We will not do your homework neither will we right your code to meet specs.

We will help and offer suggustions but in the end, all of the effort to learn and develop are the responcibilty of the questioner.

3) Thanks for the special mention of the Knights. There is room in that part of the message to include mention of the Zealots and enthusiast as well. Since there is more of the non-Knights, questioners will probably run across one of them first.

4) Encourage posting images in the code since images do not go obsolete.

5) How are you getting noobs to read this? It does not seem to be floated.

Thanks for the feedback, Ben!  I fixed the post so that the strange html formatting no longer shows up in IE.  I also added some more information under the "What to Expect" category. 

I'll post again in the future to explain the differences between Knights and non-Knight helpers.  And, for now, we are going to promote the series in the announcements board, in PMs to new users, and in the Help section.
