Unread Discussions

I'm not sure I would consider this a bug as much as I would consider it unexpected behavior.

When you are in a given board, there is a window that shows a select number of 'unread discussions'.

If you click on one if the discussions and read it, if you go to that board again, even after refreshing the page, it is still listed as an unread discussion.

I haven't seen that problem.  Are you sure you're logged in?  Are you sure you've read all the messages in that thread?

Ahh it looks like that was the issue. If you read all of the messages, then it leaves the unread discussions area. Nice catch.

The post levels have stayed the same which is

0 - 199 Member

200 - 1999 Active Participant

2000 - 4999 Trusted Enthusiast

5000 - 9999 Proven Zealot

10000 and up Knight of NI

The other things taken into account that change the color of the three bars are tagging, kudos received, accepted solutions and message views.  Those levels haven't been divulged at this time, but I could if there aren't any strong objections.
