Today I received one of these automated emails from the NI forum. What I find a bit confusing is that my answer has been considered a solution two years ago....

Hello Wolfgang,

We have made some research and it seems like the author of the original post made two updates, it seems like he unmarked the solution and marked it again, reason why you received the email.

Please let us know if you require any additional assistance.

Thanks!

Hello Karina,

thanks, this sounds plausible - but then I would have expected that the forum (Solution Accepted by topic author...) also shows the more recent date of the accepted solution, not the previous one...

Solution
Accepted by topic author Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang -

Yes, that would normally be the case. However, there is a bug affecting accepted solutions from before August 27, 2015 wherein the date will always display as August 27, 2015. We believe that this is why you are still seeing this date on the post.

Thanks,

Lili
