I am using the "Agilent ESG Series" Project-Style driver with a 4428C. (this model was not supported, but I've added it locally to the list of accepted model numbers). The problem I encountered is using the "Config Amplitude.vi" which has an input labeled "Atten Hold (F:OFF)" Through trial and error I determined that the driver was doing the opposite of what I wanted. I then looked at the code for the vi and discovered that the command that is being called is ::POW:ATT:AUTO which can have a value of ON or OFF. The logic error appears to result from the fact that in order to turn ON the attenuator hold, you must send the command to turn OFF the automatic attenuator selection; and vice-versa to turn the hold off. Can anyone else confirm this error? What is the process for getting the official driver corrected? -chuck
