multirate diagram gives different output with same input

Dear Community,

I have witten a multi-rate diagram (Mapping_2_A) and another diagram (test) uses it as a sub-diagram but it's just simply an input port connected with Mapping_2_A. I have set the same data to the input ports of both diagrams as 1 + 1i,1 + 0i,0 + 1i,0 + 0i,1 + 0i,1 - 1i,0 + 0i,-1 + 0i,0 + 1i,0 + 0i,-1 + 1i,-1 + 0i,0 + 0i,0 - 1i,-1 + 0i,0 + 0i, any idea why that happens?

Many thanks!

Hello Cy2008,

How are you running the simulation? How many iterations is LabVIEW Communications indicating that it is running?

I am getting 0 for the output of the both VIs.

Hi tcap,

I am running the simulations directly under these VIs and I got 1 output from the 'test' and 0 from the 'Mapping'. I only run 1 iteration for these simulations. I am still using Labview Comms 1.0, maybe that is the problem? I will try run the same simulations on different machines and see if I get the same output. Many thanks!

Hello Yi,

I am not running into the same behavior as you.  When the simulation runs I always get a 0.  I do run into a problem if I have 2 copies of LabVIEW Communications open (one for each VI).  This prevents the simulation from executing. Please try it out on another computer.

I have attached a picture of my results.

Hi tcap,

I have tried them on two other PCs running Labview Comms 1.0 and got the same wrong results. I have attached my simulation settings. Am I getting anything wrong in these configurations?

Many thanks

Hello Yi,

I was able to run your project in 1.0.  I received the same results that you did.  This indicates to me that this is a bug in 1.0 that was resolved in 1.1. Can you please upgrade to 1.1?

Hi tcap,

I figured that might be the problem, I am downloading 1.1 now. Thanks for the test!
