.NET Palette Issue

Solved!
Go to solution

The .NET palette seems to be broken on my machine:

There are two instances of Windows Media Player.

On my LV2020 install the selected palette item is the Web Browser control:

As far as I know I have not edited the default palettes in any way!

Thank you for the bug report! We intentionally removed the Web Browser from this palette in LabVIEW 2022 Q3, but the duplicate Windows Media Player item was accidentally introduced in LabVIEW 2023 Q1. I've created Bug 2393425 to track this issue.

Ok, thanks. Can I ask why the Web Browser control was removed? Is that control still safe to use? Are there issues we need to watch out for?!

The Web Browser control uses Internet Explorer, which is no longer supported by Microsoft.
