Labview EV3 Wireless communication

Can the EV3 be setup to communicate over wireless network with Labview on Desktop?

I have a USB Edimax wireless network dongle plugged into the EV3.

The EV3 can be accessed wirelessly through the mindstorms software using the latest version of the firmware and IP address.

If this is possible, how does one set this up?

Using the myRio the wireless network setup  is quite simple, can it be done for the EV3 as well?

Hi Bennie01,

We have a LabVIEW module for EV3 that can deploy to MINDSTORMS via wifi. You can find it here:

I have downloaded and installed.

There seems to be a problem with the firmware.

WE use for LEGO software and Matlab the Firmware version 1.09E

In labview it seems to be 1.06X

Which firmware works besst with Labview and connection to Wireless network?

Hi Bennie01,

Could you be more specific when you say that there seems to be a problem with the firmware? Is there an error that you're seeing? Could you post a screenshot?

Hi,

I can connect to EV3 via bluetooth and USB, but LabVIEW doesn't see the brick over WiFi. I have tried on 2014 and 2016 versions.
