Analyse sound signal by parts

Hi! I want to analyse a sound signal by parts. Please can somene help me by saying the best subVI to do it?

I'm going to assume the sound signal you have exists as a waveform datatype.

You can use Get Waveform Components to get the Y array of data.

You can also use some subVI's on the Waveform palette such as Get Waveform Subset to get parts of the original waveform to analyze.
