Can I install LabVIEW 7.1 with NI Drivers from May2004 to PC with Windows7?

Very short, I think the answer is

  1. Get a newer Labview version
  2. Run an older Windows OS version on your PC

The latest daq driver supporting LV 7.1 is DAQmx 8.9 which doesn't support Win7.

So there is no support for LV 7.1 with Win7 and there is no driver which supports LV 7.1 as well as Win7!

There is a NI-DAQ and LabVIEW Version Compatibility KB but there unfortunately you still have to look for each regarding the OS Support.

@krompacho Using a dual boot system. You can have both WIN7 and XP on the same computer. That may be the best work around for the problem. The link below is a how-to for installing XP on a WIN 7 computer.
