Can't connect to cRIO 9074 in MAX

I can't connect to a cRIO-9074, using MAX (LabVIEW2016).

What happened before: Adding software to cRIO with MAX, Cable disconnected during the process, Format

Now, Console Out shows IP 0.0.0.0.

How to connect, using MAX?

Note: The FPGA application is working (USER1 LED flashes as programmed)

Thank you for posting on the NI Forum.

Can you have a look at the following article that might solve your issue : http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/ABE4BC247E8AC9BC8625734E005CAB42

Thank you, s_ipour.

I still can't connect.

MAX Troubleshoot Remote System Discovery crashes (attached pictures).

I can't ping IP 0.0.0.0.

Do you have any suggestion?

Best regards.

Hi raposo,

I think information at page 10 of this manual may help you.

Hi, etuzuner.

Thank you, but I still didn't solve the problem.

The part number begins with 192172.

Console out shows the IP address is 0.0.0.0.

MAX still doesn't see the cRIO.

Console Out shows "Cannot open "/c/ni-rt/system/vxWorks".

Is this OK? (I formatted the cRIO)

What's the current setting for your dipswitches?

Hi Pedro,

natasflw is right, can you tell us DIP switch configuration? Proper position should be told in the manual.

Hi,

At the moment, all DIP swtiches are ON, except "USER1".

The problem started after formating the cRIO (IP 0.0.0.0).

I could connect before.

I could connect to an identical cRIO, after the problem. So, I am sure the problem is not on my laptop/virtual machine.

I was "forced" to format the cRIO, after a power loss when performing "Add Software". Can this harm the cRIO?
