Solved!
Go to solution

Hello and a very good day to you all.

I am in desperate need of the labview runtime engine 7.0 for a very specific program I have.

It will not run with 7.1.

Any help would be VERY much appreciated. it specifically only works on engine 7.0

My kindest regards,

Smithy

Sorry I just realized it took you back to the LabVIEW website and it does not have that version.

I found what I believe is a copy here. If you go to the download here and right click and do a save as, it might work for you:

I am by no means telling you to trust this site but if you can't find any other trusted source it might be worth the risk.

Hello Smithy,

follow this link:

ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/labview/windows/runtime/7.0/

You will find the english, french, german and japanese runtime version.

Hi Ulib and Tim (GHSP)

100% Perfect ! - both links ...

Huge thanks, I spent many many hours looking for that runtime.

I found 1 file that was supposed to be the engine but it was about 5MB - and definitely a dodgy source so that was binned. I knew the original was about 20MB.

Life saver 🙂

It is a superb little program for modifying polar diagram and airfoil data. I was lost without it as I have a project that needs it.

What super forum.

My very kindest regards.

Smithy.

Hey guys,
I'm also looking for runtime 7.0 (I think for the same program, funnily enough)
The links seem to not be working any more - does anyone have an updated link?

Did you use a dedicated FTP client? Modern webbrowsers don't support FTP anymore!

(I just did a quick test: NI provides runtimes starting from LV5.1 at the links provided in previous message.)

Aha - an ftp client. I did not know that was a thing...

I'll go get one of those then 😃

Thanks a lot!

This link is easier without any involvement of ftp servers, was able to get the files I needed quickly.

Cheers!
