Interfacing Zeiss Axiocam 305 color (USB camera) with Labview

Hello,

I use an Axiocam 305 color from Zeiss (usb cam) and I would like to interface it with LabView.

I already make a program (taken from internet) to interface a usb webcam and it works well. Unluckily it doesn't detect Zeiss camera. I supposed there is something to instal (drivers?) to use this camera with LabView?

Is someone has allready had this problem and can help me?

Hi Julien,

I don't see anywhere that it says the Axiocam 305 is meant to integrate into user applications, I think they really want to use their Zen imaging software. Some manufacturers make cameras that conform to the USB3 Vision standard, so if you swap out cameras that advertise this it is generally plug and play. The Zeiss camera makes no such claim so you will probably have to contact tech support to see if you can get your hands on their drivers, and then you would have to make a custom application to communicate with their drivers.
