Labview installation: it says installation is complete at 0% however there is nothing installed

image.pngHello everyone,

I had LabVIEW 2018 installed and it was working properly. However, I later deleted the files from the installation directory. Now, I'm trying to reinstall it along with DAQmx 2018, but I can't get it to work—the installation is stuck at 0%.

I have tried deleting all relevant files from the previous installation, but it hasn't helped. If anyone has faced a similar problem or knows what might have gone wrong, I would appreciate your help.

That's where you f**ked up. You must run the uninstaller, and if that can't run now you have to search and follow the manual uninstall procedure which is pretty messy.

It is ALWAYS wrong to manually delete files. An installation is not just a folder full of bits, there are also registry entries and many other items scattered all over.

Is there still an uninstall visible in the app manager? If so, have you tried to run it? Easiest might to be reset the OS.
