NI Package Manager doesn't install runtime oder VIPM

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello Community,

I'm new to LabVIEW and I first had some trouble to install the version, that is covered by my volume licence (2017). Which is why I first installed two versions, before I got the current one. And I tried to clean up what was left of the versions, installed before. I can actually start LabVIEW, but I have the following problem. First I got a message, after I restarted my computer, that a runtime version of 2019 or a compatible one is missing for the VIPM. So I tried to install it, but the NI product manager never did that and instead said, that I already have it, even though I couldn't find if. After running in circles, I thought maybe I should reinstall the VIPM, but after I uninstalled VIPM and that wanted to Install it again, surprise, now the NI Package Manager says the same about the VIPM. Same thing, when I try to reinstall the NI Package Manager itself.

I'm sorry, I think I just solved the problem. I found an installer for the VIPM in the LabVIEW folder... out of the folder the installation worked.
