I looked at the prior posts on this subject and did not seem to find anything useful for me.
That said I just took a "intro to .net" course using C# and I like the genral concept of dot net, (and C#) however since I using LabVIEW over 20 yrs Id rather have LabVIEW code available in my C# programs that run in the framework if I ever try to use both in one application.
With all of that said I am not a .net guru by a long shot so my Q is the following..
Can a dot net application call a compiled VI and possibly get information from it?
If it is possible please share how it might be done or If not, please share why it might be more trouble that it is worth.
Please bear with me if there are links out there describing this as I was not able to find them.
Thanks guys!

Thanks smercuri_fc
The second option seems like the best one for making a first attempt.
Might be awhile before I figure out how to manage this but again
thank you for the response.
