Save arabic characters in txt file

Hi,

I'm having trouble to save charaters and print them in arabic language .

when I open the saved file (which is some saved arabic characters) I don't see my character and instead there are some unknown characters.

I also have exactly the same problem when I send arabic characters to printer. It prints the same unknown characters.

A text file consists of a series of bytes ranging in value from 0 to 255.  What program are you using to view that file?  If you are using notepad, you are going to see the ASCII character for those bytes.  Some are printable, some are not as they are control codes.  Some will look like crazy characters.  Some will look like the English alphabet, upper and lower case.  Some are punctuation symbols.  None of them are arabic characters.

So the question is what program are you using to save arabic characters, and what are you using to try to view them.  If you are using a language that doesn't use normal alphanumeric characters present in the ASCII set, then you might be using Unicode.  Search the forums for that term to findnumerous threads discussing that.

Have a look at the following:

Also, since I'm not sure what version of LabVIEW you have, it might be worth looking at this:
