Storing data in a .txt file (RT)

Would i implement it like that?

and how will i be able to access the folder afterwards?

The project has little to do with the file structure of the cRIO.

 

The cRIO is a computer, with it's own OS and file structure. The root of this file structure is not called "nick-cRIO".

 

Have you read that article? It's all (mostly) in there.

Thank you wiebe and crossrulz for the help,

I realised that as you said a VI running on the cRIOcan only write to the cRIO drive. This way i used the information provided on this link: http://www.ni.com/tutorial/14669/en/  to create an appropriate path to my cRIO.

 

After that i added the Legacy FTP Server Web Feature:https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P8ahSAC&l=en-GB, and then i used FileZilla to connect to my cRIO and download the .txt files in my computer.
