 It's a TI/Stellaris hardware and software.

The boards not working are:

1)Tiva Launchpad http://www.ti.com/tool/ek-tm4c123gxl

2) LM4F232 USB+CAN Evaluation kit http://www.ti.com/tool/ek-lm4f232

Both of them are using Stellaris Virtual Serial Port driver.

All the symptoms are identical in mine and James's (original poster) case

 Did you have a chance to have a look at this issue?

Should I send you a Tiva Launchpad hardware?

or should I ask the guys from TI to do that?

We are trying to use it in a students lab, so it is imoortant for it to be resolved.

I would have to say no to you sending me any hardware. I really don't know why you cannot set a high baud rate. Perhaps you should open a ticket with NI. There is some incompatibility issue between the Windows driver and VISA.

TI has posted a firmware update to the TIVA board. This fixes thsi issue so it now works with LabVIEW.

Thanks for your post...Me too facing same issue.. I have download the latest firmware for tiva board.. But still I cant set 14400 baud rate... Any more trick that works with your case?

What versions of LabVIEW, NI-Serial, and NI-VISA do you have installed? Making sure you have the newest drivers that are compatible with your version of LabVIEW is a good first step to take.
