I downloaded the free LabView 7.1 and it asks me for a serial number - how do I get it?

The free LabVIEW 7.1 Student Edition is limited to use with LEGO MINDSTORMS. Did you fill out the form: https://lumen.ni.com/nicif/us/infolegolvcd/content.xhtml

Yes, I filled that out.

 

We're going to work with LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 in an automation class, and we have one set of hardware. Someone lost the CD or something, but I would really like to use Labview 7.1 with that kit since it's the teacher's recommendation and I don't have 150$ to spare that easily at the moment.

 

I managed to install the software without the key. No idea where I go from here. Will I run into problems in the future with this constellation?
