I had thought so too! I have configured Sound Output Set Volume VI to accept an array (see the first post in this thread, and the example attached to a previous post. Despite this, I don't get the expected functionality: the first element in the volume control array appears to set the volume for *both* channels, while the second element doesn't affect the volume for either channel.
