Hello,

I am trying to start a my first LabView myRIO project, but everytime I try to creat a new project, I am told that I need to find serveral files, (see attached pictures). Is there a way to make LabView find these file each time I try to start a myRIO project.

Thanks in advance for the help

How are you creating the new project? Are you able to locate the files which the LabVIEW searching?

There are chances that your software installations for myRIO is not complete. Check the Read me for myRIO software installation.

Thank you for responding. I downloaded the myRIO module from the NI website then I installed over labview 2013. In order to create a new project, I click on the create new project icon, then I click on myRIO, them myRIO project. Next, I select myRIO device and click finish. This is when the browes file appears. I am able to locate the files, but I have to find them anytime I do anything with the VI.

Did you try to save the project using File>Save Project/Save All? Are you loading the files from the expected path or from a different path?

That is sounding like something did not get installed properly.  You might want to try to perform a repair on your myRIO installation.

Darius,

In LabView go to Tools -> Options... -> Paths and change the default path. Restart LabView and see if this works.
