Can CVI Real Time be used to develop and remotely debug application running on a standalone cDAQ (9132, 9133, 9134, 9135, 9136, 9137) when they run NI Linux Real Time?
I found this document, but it's old (before the release of standalone cDAQs) and I don't understand if CVI RT supports them or not.

Hi Vix,
unfortunately CVI Real-Time supports only Pharlap for now (see also help), thus the only stand-alone cDAQ controllers supported are the Pharlap ETS ones (cDAQ-9138 and 9139).
Linux RT is not actually supported by CVI Real Time.
There are plans to include this support in the future but apparently this might not be immediate.
I hope this helps!
Bye,

Bad news...
I see that cDAQ-9138 and 9139 are legacy products and so I don't think it's a good idea using them for a new project.
Can you share the NI roadmap for this support, please?
I need to know if I can consider them for a new project.

Hi Vix,
unfortunately I have no official or precise information but unfortunately the CVI Linux RT integration project will be quite far out in the future (not in the upcoming years).
Bye

I added this new suggestion in the Idea Exchange Forum (even if it's not clear if the forum is actively considered by NI - in the past it was)
