LabWindows EtherCAT

Has anyone done any work with EtherCAT in LabWindows?  Any third-party library available?

There a lots of third-party products (just do a websearch for 'windows ethercat'), but because EtherCAT has fairly demanding timing requirements the products tend to be real-time subsystems running under Windows. Probably the most popular of these is Beckhoff TwinCAT, which you could interface to from CVI using its ActiveX interface. I personally use Kithara, which suits my needs a little better.

You could also interface to EtherCAT through an NI real-time system, if you wanted

You can read & write data with CVI via ads.dll given by Beckhoff. This is applicable only for Beckhoff controllers.
