No subdirectories in installed distribution with CVI 8.1

Forgive me if the answer to my question is already on this forum, but there are so many posts related to distributions that I am unable to find my way.
My problem is very simple:
We were working with CVI 8.0 and have now installed CVI 8.1.
A distribution that was created with CVI 8.0 installed perfectly fine, but when we build the distribution with CVI 8.1 only the files in the 'application directory' get installed. No subdirectories and none of the files in the subdirectories.
The only difference I can detect in the distribution itself is the fact that it is build in the directory 'volume' instead of 'volume1'. But that should not matter.

I have to add that the installation does work when the default 'application directory' (specified in the distribution) is used. As soon as it is modified during installation the problem described above occurs. We use our distribution in 4 different environments and therefore the application directory is modified during installation (in this case to a directory in the rootdirectory and not in 'program files').

Hi Ovide,

This was a known issue that we introduced into CVI 8.1. We fixed this problem in the latest release of LabWindows/CVI 8.1.1.

Jonathan,

Thanks for the fast reply. I will contact support to find out how we get version 8.1.1 (if a fix update is part of our contract).

Greetz,

Ovide
