Can NI PCIe-8233 be connected to a RT desktop for image capture?

Solved!

Hi All,

I am planning to use 3 GigE cameras for my application. Also I have decided to use a desktop running NI RT OS.  Does this frame grabber support RT? As per the specifications , https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/model.pcie-8233.html , the supported operating system is Windows,

However, in the overview section of the same webpage, it is mentioned that " 8233 is optimized for machine vision needs on both PC and real-time systems".

Can I connect  NI PCIe-8233 to my RT desktop and capture images?

Regards

Aveo

Hi Suraj,

Thanks for your previous reply.

I found a spare frame grabber, NI PCIe 8237R , lying around my desk. I am currently planning to use this to capture images from 2 GigE cameras using a RT desktop. Before I dive into installing RT into the desktop machine I wanted to confirm once whether

1) 8237R can be used to capture images through a RT desktop?

The 8237R is unfortunately _not_ supported on RT desktop.
