While I'm configuring a system that a camera is on a different subnet to that of PC.
"Trouble Shooting GigE Vision Camera" said "The camera and the NIC must be on the same subnet".
If the camera is on the different subnet, don't we have any method to identify?
If then, is it a limitation of GigE vision?
If anyone knows how to configure a camera with a public IP on a different subnet, please help me~

On the IMAQdx palette, there is a VI called "IMAQdx Discover Ethernet Cameras". You can call this with a unicast address of a remote camera (or in some cases, a directed broadcast address for the remote subnet), and this should allow cameras to be added that are on a remote subnet. They will stick around until you either re-run the discovery and there is no camera found at the same address, or until the IMAQdx driver is unloaded from memory. Note that there are many caveats to using GigE Vision cameras across subnets, so this configuration is generally not recommended.
