I have downloaded NI-DAQmx 9.4, but when I attempt to install it I get the message:
Cannot install
o NI Measurement & Automation Explorer 5.0 (higher version already installed)
What does this mean? I have LabVIEW 2012 (Windows), version 12.0, 64 bit.
Thanks,
Neil

I think what's happening is that DAQmx is being installed properly but the installer is also trying to install an older version of Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), which is what is causing the error.
You can verify that DAQmx was installed properly by opening up MAX and checking to see if it's listed under the Software tab on the left.
One thing to keep in mind is that DAQmx 9.4 is not compatible with LabVIEW 2012, so you may just want to upgrade to the latest version of DAQmx, which is 9.6 and is compatible with LabVIEW 2012.

Hi baoxuan,
Here is a helpful link in uninstalling NI Software: Uninstall National Instruments Software
Also this is a 6 year old, solved thread so not many users will see this. To get better visibility, I would suggest creating a new thread.
All the Best,
