Dear Sirs,

I have a project which is about surface and inside inespection of brass fittings.

My camera model is IDSUA and lens is FUJINON 12.5mm and lighting is a handmade doom.

You can find my problems as attached file in "my problems folder".

Also, the photos of our project are available in folder " Project".

If it is possible for you, please make a project as sample which can find the problems which are shwon in "my problems folder" and if you don't have enough time, please kindly find the problem of pic NO.1.jpg in a vision builder or vision assisstant project.

Thanks for your reply.

      Regarding to the photos which I sent you, we have done surface inespection projects through NI.

Our problems are as below:

1- the outside of the piece is electroplated but some of them are shining and some are not. when the parts are shining everything (tools) is good but when they are not shining some of the defect are not true.

2- for using some tools as texture defect needs a long time. the cycle time of our project is MAX 3 sec.

3- The threaded part, have some cracked which are shown when the is lighting on them and when there is no lighting, the cracked can not be seen.

our common way to find the defects, firstly we blur the image by low pass filter then we make it more clear by erode ( gray morphology part) and then we can see the defect on screen through threshold to detect the defect.

also, we haven't get any good result by using texture tool.
