First your question could be related to this error, but now i feel it is completely different so start new thread.
Because the IMAQdx session you are not passing it to subVI and hence error. Please check here how to create subvi and setup the controls and indicators as terminals: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/7593/en/

You are correct. Simple solution. I'm able to pass the session out! And the camera is working thanks to the IMAQdx update. Thanks uday and AVT!
