C reference help cdaqmx.chm missing from Start menu in NI-DAQmx 8.9 install

Prior to NI-DAQmx 8.9 there was an option from the Start menu to open the C reference

Start-> All Programs->National Instruments->NI-DAQ->NI-DAQmx C Reference Help

to bring up  the help

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Docs\cdaqmx.chm

It's mentioned  on this page as well: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/5489#toc2

In two 8.9 installs I did it is missing and I don't recall seeing an option to include it.

Of course I can get to the file via the full path and have created a desktop link to do this, but I was wondering if this was an intentional change and if we can get the Start menu link back in the next release?

Hi Sherryl,

The C Reference Help file should still accessible through the start menu, although the location has moved slightly as of DAQmx 8.9. I would try looking here:

Start -> All Programs -> National Instruments -> NI-DAQ -> Text-Based Code Support -> NI-DAQmx C Reference Help

You should be able to get to the help as I have done in the above screenshot, but please let us know if this is not the case.
