'DAQmx Configure Logging' not found in Labview 2009

Solved!

Dear Sir or Madam

I have Labview version 9.0f3 instored. Measurement & Automation Explorer version 4.60f1 instored.

Do I need to update anything to run the attached VI?

Problem:

As mentioned in the file as follows http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/9574

'NI-DAQmx 9.0 installs a new VI, DAQmx Configure Logging VI'. However I can not find this VI in my control panel and the icon shows as a question mark.

You are correct that DAQmx 9.0 and later includes the VI.  Which version of DAQmx do you have installed?

Here is a link to version 9.2.1.

Thank you.

All I know is that I have Labview version 9.0f3 instored. Measurement & Automation Explorer version 4.60f1 instored.

How to check the version of DAQmx? Does 'DAQmx' means 'Measurement & Automation Explorer'?

Regards

There are a couple of ways to check your version of DAQmx:

1) Through Measurement and Automation Explorer:

2)  Through Add Remove Programs

My guess is that you are using DAQmx 8.9.5 and will need to upgrade to 9.0 or later.
