How to connect dwyer SERIES 629 Differential Pressure Transmitter to the 9219 DAQ and read the signal?

Solved!

Here is my sensor
Pressure Sensor

Here is the DAQ datasheet:

NI DAQ 9219

Here are my problems/Questions:

First of all I do not know what is LO and HI exactly in the 9219 DAQ device.

Secondly I do not know which pin I should connect the sensor signal wire to DAQ. Pin 4 or pin 5 ? The sensor has three pins and I assume I should connect the two other wires to the voltage power supply.
Thirdly how to calibrate the sensor. In labview should I choose voltage in the wizard?

I am fairly new in this DAQ and I need your help.

Thank you

Hi SilasIII,

Hmm well the 3 wires are probably ground, power, and the return signal. The spec sheet for the sensor says this:

Capture.JPG

First, you need to know which model you have (4-20mA, 0-5V or 0-10VDC). HI means the return signal, LO means essentialy the ground of the power supply that supplies power to the sensor. Next, you need to get supply for the 13-30 VDC. I don't think that should be too complicated, and can be a simple DC supply from the wall. You might want to learn how to create a custom scale in DAQmx. I hope this provides a starting point.

Regards,

Eric
