I want to use the data acquisition to collect the signal in the signal generator, and realize the timing of the signal generator to generate and stop the signal by means of external trigger

Okay, but you've not shared what model of DAQ and what model of signal generator. Triggering is an hardware feature and must be supported by the actual DAQ and Signal Generator you are using.
