WLS-9163 Ground Terminal Connection

Hello,

The manual for the WLS-9163 says on page 9 that the ground terminal of the device should not be attached to the common terminal of the C Series I/O module.

Will problems arise if I connect the common terminal of the I/O module to the ground terminal of the WLS-9163?

Hi,

The modules are usually isolated depending on the module so that is why you would not want to tie the ground of the module to the chassis.
