I am using Windows 8, installed Labview 2014 Student Edition, then downloaded NI-DAQmx, however do not have any icons I expected to see in a YouTube video. My question is, how/where to obtain the respective DAQmx sub-icons?

What version of DAQmx did you install? Did you install DAQmx AFTER installing LabVIEW? Did you reboot your computer?

I installed DAQ version VDM 2013, and yes, I installed DAQ after installing Labview then rebooted computer.

I used the hot link and downloaded the most recent version of DAQmx as suggested, restarted both the computer & Labview, and the "Vision & Motion" shows up s before on my "Functions Pallete" of the "Block Diagram" window, however no icon are present when I select "Vision & Motion". Other thoughts or suggestions?

I think I am trying to get the correct module to work. My objective is to convert the pixel RGB values of a camera's image file to CieLab color space coordinates, then obtain the mean, mode, std_dev, and a histogram of the each the three data sets. I found a link on the NI website indicating the IMAQ Color Processing Pallete has a function (i.e., Vision & Motion ->Color Processing -> ColorHistogram) that may very well do what I'm trying to achieve, but it indicates the NI Vision Development Module is required.
Thanks for the input,

Please note, I have the "Student Edition" and not the "Student Edition Suite".

Thank you for the assistance with respect to the "Vision and Motion", the link to the lastest version works as you suggested.
