Feature proposal: new step property: allowable callers.

Hi,

I propose to that the steps to have new feature called AllowableCallers.

Using this feature developers could restrict the callers (subsequences) from where the particular steps could be called.

Having this feature developers could prevent the mistakes of unintentional step copying during creating new subsequences using the copy-paste method.

The default value for this settings would be AllowAllCallers, but developer would be able to define the condition as they wish (function window f(x))

This seems like a horribly huge amount of work to configure individual steps, for not much benefit.  The same thing could probably be implemented by making good use of custom step types, and having a OnNewStep substep.  If anything, maybe expanding the substep menu to specifically support "OnCopyStep" as a different substep type, kinda like http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-TestStand-Idea-Exchange/Custom-Step-to-detect-quot-Step-Deletion-quot/idi... suggests for step deletion.

That being said -- being able to define Public, Private, Community scope for subSequences would be nice.
