INSTRSUP.DLL problem

Hi there,
I try to use an Hewlett-Packard Power Supply with the corresponding ivi driver from the NI download section.
But there is an conflict between the ivi driver (HP66XXBC_32.DLL) and the INSTRSUP.DLL. My Dependency Walker shows me the problem. The ivi driver DLL calls some function which are not included in the latest INSTRSUP.DLL.

Is this a known problem of the INSTRSUP.DLL or is there any solution for my problem ?!?!?!

(For more information see the attached jpg's)

Thanks for every response

The version of the DLL that I have is 6.0.4.105 which is from CVI 6.0. I have placed a temp copy of my dll on ftp.ni.com\incoming\instrsup.dll. You might want to temporarily replace your copy to see if this fixes the problem with depends and the original problem.

Thank you very much, Scott.
I think this must solve my problem.
But the location ftp.ni.com\incoming\instrsup.dll was
not reachable for me, I get the message "The internet page was not reachable or was not found". Could you maybe attache the DLL at an posting comment.

Thanks

Mr. Pe,

Type in your browser the ftp site WITHOUT the name of the dll. This is:
ftp://ftp.ni.com/incoming (Or click on this link)

Then browse until you find the file "instrsup.dll".

Erm.... you cannot download from the incoming directory. Or, at least that's what the error message told me. Try ftp://ftp.ni.com/ and browse from there.

We have changed our FTP site since the last post (nearly 3 years ago).

I will put the 7.1 version of the DLL on: ftp://ftp.ni.com/outgoing

Thanks! I didn't realise the thread was so old. I thought the dates were the registration dates of the users, not the date of the post.

Hi,

I'm getting a similar problem:  I just recently installed Labview V7 on a new PC, and am trying to use some older software that I developed, which communicates with an hp6627a power supply.  However, whenever the software tries to load certain subvis related to this instrument, it indicates that instrsup.dll is missing.  I've been using this software for years on other computers and never go this error.  Any idea why it's missing, and is there a way I could replace it on my system?  Thanks,

George
