Need to create useful reports derived from the TestStand results database (.mdb)

Any help is greatly appreciated!

We need to create reports derived from the TestStand results database (.mdb).  I have not been able to find much online.

Details:

In TestStand 2014, we configured to use the Access database management system.  Otherwise, the database settings are default.

These reports will be targetted to managers and engineers.  They need to show items like:

Which DUTs passed/failed?

For each DUT, which specific tests passed/failed?

It's unfortunate that you have to use the jet database but there are countless links on the web for how to run queries with access. You don't even need to learn sql.

I was hoping something already existed for reporting with the TestStand results database, rather than having to create it from scratch.

In TestStand 2014 Database Viewer Application, you have an option to export table results into a report. (Supported formats are listed below)

You can follow below steps to export:

1. Launch Database Viewer Application and connect to your database.

2. "View Data" on the table which contains DUT passed/failed status or a table that contains specific tests' results.

3. You can filter for the required status or sort based on the status and then export using export button beside Results table(marked below) or File->Export Document

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Since I could not find anything pre-made I created the reports from scratch using queries in Microsoft Access 2010.
