Well after reinstalling TestStand still got the same issue, i think it's something wrong with the LabView Adapter. I don't know how to uninstall it.

The LabVIEW Adapter is part of TestStand which manages the LabVIEW Calls via ActiveX,
You could try repairing LabVIEW as well

Clutching at straws....
Can you try the following:
1.) Close LV & TS
2.) Navigate to C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\<TSVersion>\Cfg
3.) Rename Adapters.cfg to something else
4.) Start TestStand
5.) Check again..
This is in case the repair / re-install hasn't removed the adater config properly.... AFAIK TestStand should recreate this file with default values.
Nevertheless.... if you are 100% sure this behaviour is directly linked to the execution of this Python script, you should check its' code!

Just saw, that there was a change in config directories when updating from 2014 to 2016...
Is there no adapters.cfg in that particular folder, or isn't there any on your computer?

Hi,
Something to try - Using admin command shell can you try to re-register LV by executing LabVIEW.exe /regserver from the folder in which LabVIEW is installed.
Couple of questions:
1. If you launch LV first and then try to edit a LV step. Does that work?
2. Are you launching the TS SeqEdit as the current user who is logged in or with some other user privilege?
