Triple types palette loading.

Hi,

Recently I've experienced strange behaviour whilst opening TestStand (just sequence editor with no model and no sequence file called).

TS has detected seven type conflicts but I'm having difficulties with nailing root cause of the problem.

Strange things are:

1. TS says:
   
   Type 'CommonResults' in NI_DatabaseTypes.ini (C:\Program Files\National Instruments\TestStand 2010 SP1\Components\TypePalettes\NI_DatabaseTypes.ini) is different from the currently loaded type 'CommonResults'. Currently Loaded Type
   Version 3.1.0.100
   Last modified: 28/06/2004 12:00:00 (Older)
   Category: StdTypes
   Location(s):
   
   Type in File
   Version 4.2.0.135
   Last modified: 14/07/2009 14:04:26 (Newer)

   This is the first conflict message. What is the location of the currently loaded type is empty? Why the location field is empty?
2. In total there are seven conflicts. Six from <TestStand Directory>\Components\TypePalette and one from <TestStand Public Directory>\Components\TypePalette. All of them pointing on version mismatch of CommonResults type. But why TS is detecting this conflicts three times in loops of seven? Have a look here. Draft of the flow below:

Thanks for getting in  contact with us. The problem seems to lie with the .ini configuration file, so I wanted to ask if there have been any recent changes to your configuration files, TestStand, or the PC you are using. It seems that there may be more than one CommonResults data type, which is described in depth here:

Please let me know of recent changes and I'll be able to work and isolate the issue.

Thanks for interesting link.

The question needs to be answered is, where the CommonResults type is initially loaded from?

As you can see the location (marked red) is empty.
