Update VI prototype

A have a VI that is called dozens of times from TestStand and it's prototype has changed. Must I visit every step where it is called and reload the prototype?

Well this is a rather old topic (~13 years old), but I'm having the same problem. I inherited a sequence in which a particular VI has called gazillion times and after modifying the VI now I'm supposed to find all the instances. I see that there were a solution posted which is recently (~5 years ago:)) has been removed.

So I guess this topic goes back to square one... how this can I update the prototype of a given VI everywhere its called?
