updation of ts4.0 to 4.1

Hello,

I have licensed TestStand 4.0 and i want to update my licensed  version to 4.1 from where i can install for updation....there is no Button for updation on ts.

What do you mean by a button? Do you really mean link? At the top of the TestStand board is this topic about the upgrade. The upgrade is not free unless you have SSP.

edit - According to your post here, you've already upgraded to 4.1 so your question makes no sense at all.

Actullly we have many copy of lisenced ts...earlier copies have 4.0  and the copies which we have purchased now are of 4.1.

But knw i also want to upgrade my privious copies (only 6 month earlier purchased) to ts4.1. to have a common develpment test platfrom.bcoz sequence edited or written in ts4.1 finds difficulty running in 4.0 because for that i have to sae file as 4.0 every time.

SSP is the Standard Support Program and if you have subscribed to it, you get free updates. If you have not subscribed to it, you have to pay for each upgrade. I believe that the original purchase of a TestStand license includes 1 year fo support. After that, you pay a support fee. You should determine exactly what you bought. You can contact NI directly or your local NI Sales Engineer, and with the serial numbers of the existing licenses, get the status.

oh... yes we are having 1 year support period.but i didnt subscribed to any thing else and i dont want to the same .please tell me if i install the ts 4.1 and put serial no of 4.0 .does it work

Probably, but the fact that you have not received the upgrade CD in the two months since the release is kind of strange. You should really contact NI with the serial numbers of the 4.0 installations to check the status. If you install 4.1 and use one of the old serial numbers, the registration of it will either pass or fail. If it passes, you are good to go. If it fails, you are back to contacting NI.
