Should i be Having problems running Multiple C-Rio modules in Scan Engine and EtherCAT custom device

Seems that when i put two 9401 modules into the chassis and try to auto-discover, it shows up, but when i go to deploy, i get variable name errors (i cna't recall the error), but it seems to be issues with multiples...

of course, as i wrote this, i realized that i will be making my own custom device, so this shouldn't be a problem (right?), but i would still like to know.

Could you provide further details on the error you are seeing upon deployment? You should be able to deploy a project with two 9401 modules in the chassis. Are these the only modules in your project? Are they configured as specialty digital? The limitation with Scan Engine is that you can have a maximum of 2 modules in your chassis configured for specialty digital. In the future, I ask that you post to the forum specific to the Scan Engine and EtherCAT custom device.

Hmmm....I will repost there too, but here is an answer to your question:

I have 6 modules, only two of them are 9401's with Specialty Modes.  None of my other devices have the specialty mode, but no matter where I put the 9401 module, it will discover it, but when it goes to deploy, I get an error in the console (and maybe the error log on the windows machine), about variables. (sorry i don't have the exact error right now, i do recall posting this question before and maybe i can find the errors). It is good to hear that it should be able to handle two of them.  Thanks for the reply.
