The PXI-PCI 8360 is compatible and should work with the PXI 1056.

Hello,

I am wondering if I can use NI PXI 1042Q chassis for a remote control using NI PXI 8368 and PCI 8368 modules, including a Gen1 x1 Fiber optic cable. 

And can this arrangement support multi-chassis setup? Please tell as well if there are any limitations with this arrangement.
