Hello
this post is following this one https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/compiling-for-CRIO-NI-CompactRio-13-0-1/m-p/4417715#M1302501
in the end I need to Update the software on the CRIO to NI CompactRIO 13.0.1 to CRIO to NI CompactRIO 19.0 I guess because I have Labview 2019 on my PC.
I was suggested to :
check compatibility https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/compatibility/20/compactrio-device-driver-and-labview-ve...
You don't need to update the firmware.
Instead you need to update the installed software on your cRIO, using MAX. There's an option to install software (drivers) on your cRIO from MAX, but I don't have a cRIO at hand to show this with an image…
this is the CRIO view from NI Max

Is there a Guide or some instruction to Achive this?
I have done a RAD utility .LvAppImg copy of the present state, will this restore fully CompactRio to this version in case of a RollBack?
I have this problem because this machine is in a production environment in India and I am elsewere, I cannot intervene phisically.
the update is a minor one, but if this machine stops I create Major Damages.
