Thanks,
Been having trouble with the server, but since other people have reported this it is not a server issue.

Found out more information that NI might already have. When I log back onto the server, I found a Data Prevention Error (DEP) error message from the OS.
It appears that the OS shutdown the VLM for acting like a virus. Some kind of a memory leak or de-referenced pointer.

Thank you for the feedback. I will inform R&D of the DEP error.

Hi Paul and Nestor,
I hope your both well.
I just came across this post and I saw just the other day and DEP error on a server when using VLM.
To resolve the issue (which I wasn't sure from reading this post if this was stopping VLM Working..) was to follow this advice on DEP settings,
If your computer is set to apply DEP to all programs and services, the DEP error message will have a Change Settings button. If an update to the program is not available, follow these steps to add an exception for the program from the DEP error message:
Just maybe helpful / for other users who see a DEP error in the future.
Have a great evening!

This solves the problem.
I still think it might be masking an issue inside the VLM code where it is trying to access some OS resource.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reply.
I am glad this resolved your issue.
I wont CAR this issue as Nestor seems to be dealing with it... I will however write a KnowledgeBase on the DEP error to help users resolve the error in the mean time.
Thanks again, and have a great day!
